This Oahu whale watching charter is unique in the fact that Dolphin Excursions uses a high speed raft for the whale watching charter. This raft is very fast and gets you to the whales in a hurry. Because of the speed of this boat you will spend more time whale watching than the larger boats. Dolphin Excursions has a naturalist aboard the raft who will share the habits, history and story of the Humpback Whale. This is a great whale watch; however it is not that child friendly. Seating capacity is limited to 10 guests which gives you a personalized whale watch without the crowds of larger vessels. All whale watches are guaranteed. There is no restroom aboard the raft. This whale watch is 2.5 hours in length and considered the most exciting whale watch on Oahu. Meals: There are no meals included with this event. Dolphin Excursions provides snacks consisting of fresh fruit, yogurt, granola bars, juice and bottled water. Transportation Information: Transportation is included from Waikiki hotels. Meet Location: The check in location for Dolphin Excursions whale watch is at the Waianae Boat Harbor on Oahu's West Shore 30 minutes prior to departure. This would be a 2:00pm check in for a 2:30pm Dolphin excursion. You should allow at least 1 hour of drive time from Waikiki to the Waianae Boat Harbor in Waianae. With it's sleek design and engineering the Navatek I can actually cruise past Diamond Head or other areas further out faster than any other vessel of it's size in search of the humpback whale. Outdoor viewing decks and large windows in the air-conditioned cabins provide wonderful sighting experiences for the whale enthusiasts. Expert naturalists share an informative and educational commentary on the behavioral and biology of the humpback whale. The Navatek guarantees all whale watches. If the naturalist does not sight a whale during your Oahu whale watch, all guests are given a second whale watch for free during the Oahu vacation.
